Dow and Europe were all down on Friday.
Dow -279 closing at 17857. Trend of Dow has turned down quite
convincingly. Dow's future is now -30. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mostly down with
Shanghai bucking the trend. Nikkei -180, ShanghaiC +61, Hangseng
-41. STI closed -17 at 3400. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers
were 151 to 305 losers.
Trend of STI is weakening.
Top volumes were Noble -5.5, IHC unchanged,
AdvanceSCT unchanged, Genting +3.5, Ellipsiz +1.2, UniFiber +0.1, HPHTrust
-1, GoldenAgri +0.5, KLW +0.1, Xpress -0.1.
Market opened down 30 points but crawled
back to close with a loss of 17 pts. Blue chips were mostly in the red.
Penny and speculatives too were mostly weaker following the fall
in Dow on Friday.
Europe and Dow's future are looking
weak at the moment.
