European bourses were weaker last night.
Dow closed -12 at 18116. Dow's trend is up. Dow's future
is now +41. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
-41, ShanghaiC +4, Hangseng -95. STI closed +5 at 3415. Volume was
1.3b shares. Gainers were 246 to 180 losers.
Trend of STI is still up.
Top volumes were IHC unchanged, Noble
-0.5, Genting -1, Pacific Andes +0.2, Equation +0.2, LippoMallsTr +0.5,
SingTel +1, SIIC unchanged, Yuuzoo +0.5, CNA +0.2.
STI opened up and stayed marginally
positive for the whole day except for a few minutes when it dipped slightly
to negative. It recovered to close positive for the day. Blue chips
were mostly up. Penny and speculatives were slightly firmer.
Europe and Dow's future are up at the
moment.
