European bourses were mixed last night.
Dow closed -81 at 17977. Trend of Dow is levelling. Dow's future
at the moment is +32. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei +3,
ShanghaiC +14, Hangseng -455. STI +37 at 3521. Volume was 3.6b shares.
Gainers were 298 to 196 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were SinoConstruction +0.9,
Albedo +0.3, Magnus unchanged, Charisma +0.1, Xpress -0.2, Digiland unchanged,
SIIC -1, Vallianz unchanged, Jaya +0.8, CNA unchanged.
Market opened flat but moved up slightly
higher. It surged in late afternoon to close near day high. Blue
chips were big gainers especially the banks. The general market was up.
Europe is still down but Dow's future
is slightly up.
