Daily Summary 29 Apr 15
Europe closed mostly down. Dow opened down but closed +72 at 18110. Dow's trend is still sideways. Dow's future is now flat. Europe opened slightly up.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei closed, ShanghaiC +6, Hangseng -42. STI closed -6 at 3489. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 197 to 270 losers.
Trend of STI is coming down.
Top volumes were SinoConstruction -0.1, Digiland unchanged, IHC -0.5, Ezion -6.5, QTVascular -4.5, CNA +0.1, Jaya -0.2, ThaiBev -0.5, Mirach -0.2, Vallianz -0.3.
STI was down most part of the day but traded in a small band. Blue chips were mostly lower. The general market too was weaker and volume fell to 1.6b shares. It looks like the recent run on blue chips is coming to an end and the sell in May and go away is going to be repeated.
Dow and Europe are looking flat at the moment.
