Asian bourses were mixed and relatively
flat. Nikkei -37. Shanghai and Hangseng closed. STI closed
+1 at 3455. Volume was 1.9b shares. Gainers were 272 to 182
losers.
Trend of STI is flattening.

Market opened marginally down and traded
in a very tight range for the whole session. Blue chips were slightly
firmer. Penny stocks and speculatives were mixed with a bit more
gainers than losers.
