Europe and Dow fell sharply on Friday. Dow -290 closing at 16385. The short uptrend of Dow is slipping back down. Dow's future at the moment is -9. Europe opened mixed.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei -382, ShanghaiC +59, Hangseng -164. STI closed +3 at 2883. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 195 to 233 losers.
Trend of STI is flat.
Top volumes were IHC -21.6, HealthwayMed -1, Debao +0.1, SinoCloud -0.1, GlobalLogistic +4, Ezra unchanged, Stratech -0.3, GeoEnergy -0.1, ChineseGlobal +0.1, GoldenAgri -0.5.
STI opened down and stayed down the whole morning. It moved up gradually through the session to turn marginally positive in the last 15 minutes. Blue chips were mixed. The general market was weaker.
European bourses are mixed at the moment while Dow's future has just turned positive, +17.
