Europe closed mixed last night. Dow closed -65 at 16675. Trend of Dow is still pointing up. Dow's future at the moment is +5. Europe has opened down.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -362, ShanghaiC +13, Hangseng +66. STI closed -7 at 2889. Volume was 1.7b shares. Gainers were 269 against 181 losers.
Trend of STI is looking up slightly.
Top volumes were Sinarmas unchanged, GlobalLogistic -5, GeoEnergy +0.3, Noble +1, Ezra +0.2, GoldenAgri -1, NewSilkroutes +0.1, Debao +0.5, Vallianz -0.2, SingTel +7.
STI opened flat. It started to move up strongly after an hour of trading to hit 2920 and stayed positive for the rest of the session. It only fell in the last 15 min to close negative. Blue chips were mixed but the general market was slightly firmer.
Europe and Dow's future are down at the moment.
