Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -235, ShanghaiC +9, Hangseng closed. STI closed -38 at 2794. Volume was 1b shares. Gainers were 123 to 293 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were SingTel -12, TTJ +1.5, Healthway -0.2, IHC -0.4, Rowsley +0.1, Ezra -0.5, GreatGroup +0.2, Ezion -4, Noble -1, Stratech -0.2.
STI opened marginally down but fell further after half an hour of trading. It stayed at -40 level for the rest of the session to close -38. Volume was a low of 1m shares. The general market was down with loser gainer ratio at 3:1.
