Europe and Dow fell sharply last night. Dow -313 to close at 16002. Trend of Dow is down. Dow's future is now -44. European bourses opened marginally up.
Asina bourses mostly fell. Nikkei -714, ShanghaiC-64, Hangseng -630. STI closed -6 at 2786. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 153 to 269 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Noble -4.5, Healthway +0.1, WE unchanged, IHC -0.2, Ezra +0.5, Genting +2.5, SingTel +3, GlobalLogistic +1, GoldenAgri unchanged, ChinaSkyChem -0.1.
STI opened down and hit a day low at 2740. It started to pull back in mid afternoon to close at day high and shaving off morning losses, at 2786. Blue chips were mostly in the red. The overall market also weaker.
European bourses are firming up slightly at the moment. Dow's future is still down.
