Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -192, ShanghaiC +14 , Hangseng -283. STI closed -33 at 2598. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 113 to 369 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Annica unchanged, Ezra -0.9, Magnus unchanged, Noble -2, Spackman -0.2, Koyo -28.2, Jiutian -0.2, ChinaSports -0.2, RexIntl -0.2, WE unchanged;.
STI opened down and stayed down the whole session. It closed near its day high with some short covering when Europe opened up.
Blue chips were mostly down led by the banks. The general market was down with gainers losers ration ar nearly 1:4.
