Europe last night closed slighlly down. Dow was closed. Trend of Dow is down. Dow's future is now +218. European bourses opened firmly up.
Asian bourses were mostly positive. Nikkei +93, ShanghaiC +95, Hangseng +398. STI closed +44 at 2637. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 322 to 138 losers.
Trend of STI still down but starting to level after today's gain.
Top volumes were Ezra +0.5, Noble +2.5, ChinaSports +0.1, RexIntl +0.8, SingTel -4, Spackman +1.1, Xpress +0.1, Cosco +2.5, MMP +0.1, Genting +2.
STI opened flat but turned positive for an hour before falling to the red. By late morning it started its climb and closed at day high at +40. Blue chips were mostly green. The general market was firmer with gainer loser ratio at 3:1.
Europe and Dow's future at the moment are up.
