European bourses were down on Friday but Dow +330 closing at 24191. Trend
of Dow is still down. Dow's future at this moment is +164. European
bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -508, ShanghaiC +24, Hangseng -48. STI
closed +11 at 3388. Volume was 2.4b shares. Gainers were 178 to 247
losers.
Falling trend of STI is levelling at this point.
Top volumes were QTVascular +0.2, AlliedTech +0.1, PineCap -0.1, +0.1,
Genting +1, MarcoPoloMarine -0.3, ThaiBev +0.5, YZJ -4, HPHTrust +0.5,
Singtel -2.
STI opened up but slipped to flat after an hour. It then climbed back to
close +20 points by lunch break. It continued to move up after lunch but
retreated by mid afternoon to close off its day high.
Blue chips were slightly firmer. The general market were weaker.
