European bourses and Dow fell sharply last night. Dow -1175 to close at
24346. Dow has since corrected 2,000 points in 6 sessions. Trend of Dow is
down. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses fell sharply in line with Dow. Hangseng -1072, ShanghaiC
-118, Hangseng -1619. STI closed -76 at 3406. Volume was 3.7b shares.
Gainers were 83 to 470 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Midas -0.2, Blumont unchanged, AlliedTech -0.3, Rowsley
-0.5, MarcoPoloMarine -0.2, Genting -5, QTVascular -0.2, APAC unchanged,
Infinio +0.2, HPHTrust -1.
STI opened down 70 points and fell to near day low by lunch, -130 points.
After lunch it went a few points down before make a recovery and continue
to move back up to closed off the day low at -77. It was a sea of red for
both blue chips and penny stocks.
European bourses and Dow's future continued to fall but starting to recover
some losses at this moment.
