Asian bourses closed down. Nikkei -459, ShanghaiC -21, Hangseng -311. STI
closed -33 at 3079. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 109 to 250
losers.

Top volumes were Ezion -0.3, RichCapital -0.2, Genting -2, ThomsonMed -0.2,
ThaiBev +0.5, RexIntl -0.2, YZJ -3, SweeHong unchanged, Spackman -0.1,
GoldenAgri unchanged.
STI opened down and stayed down the whole session. It hit day low in the
morning at 3064, -47. After lunch it crept back slightly to close at 3079,
-33.
Blue chips were mostly down. The general market was down.
