European bourses were up last night. Dow closed -53 at 24370. Trend of
Dow is still down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly higher. Nikkei +469, ShanghaiC +8, Hangseng
+415. STI closed +41 at 3100. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 221
to 133 losers.
STI is making a tick up from the down trend.
Top volumes were Ezion +0.3, MMPResources +0.2, Blumont unchanged,
RichCapital unchanged, RexIntl +0.2, Genting +3.5, LionGold unchanged,
ThaiBev +0.5, SingTel +3, YZJ +3.
STI gapped up on opening and continued to climb for the rest of the
morning. It reached a morning high in the first hour of trading. After
lunch it continued to climb but pulled back by mid morning to an afternoon
low in the last only to climb back and closed near day high.
Blue chips were mostly green. The general market was firmer.
