European and Dow fell sharply last night. Dow closed -799 at 25027. Short
term trend of Dow still unclear. Long term trend is down. European
bourses opened down.
Asian bourses fell as well. Nikkei -117, ShanghaiC -16, Hangseng -425.
STI closed -16 at 3151. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 123 to 221
losers.
Trend of STI is still up but slipping.
Top volumes were DISA unchanged, ThaiBev -1.5, MMPResources +0.2, Ezion
-0.2, Genting -1, SingTel unchanged, RexIntl -0.2, GoldenAgri +0.5,
Spackman unchamged, YZJ +3..
STI opened -37 points. It moved up to cut its losses and closed for lunch
slightly higher than its opening. After lunch it hovered at the pre lunch
level for an hour before climbing to close near day high at -16 points.
Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market was down.
