Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -539, ShanghaiC +11, Hangseng +24. STI
closed -24 at 3166. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 101 to 258
losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were ThomsonMed +0.2, Ezion -0.2, Blumont unchanged, RexIntl
-0.1, Genting -2, NicoSteel -0.1, AscendasReit -4, YZJ -6, SingTel -2,
GoldenAgri -0.5.
STI opened flat but fell quickly to negative. It closed for lunch at
morning low. After lunch it continued to fall only to turn back up in mid
afternnoon to close off the day low at -24. Day low was -39.
Blue chips were mostly red. The general market was down.
