European bourses were slightly down last night while Dow closed +70 at
24597. Short term trend of Dow is trying to turn back up. European
bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -457, ShanghaiC -40, Hangseng
-447. STI closed -30 at 3081. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 134
to 224 losers.
The two days of gains in STI is seeing a signal to pull back.
Top volumes were MMPResources unchanged, Ezion -0.3, LionGold unchanged,
SingHaiyi -0.1, QTVascular unchanged, RexIntl -0.3, SingTel -4, ThaiBev
-1.5, Genting -1.5, YZJ -2.
STI opened marginally down but fell subsequently to close for lunch near
morning low. After lunch it traded at this level for an hour before moving
up a little to close off the day low at -30. Day low was -42.
Blue chips were mostly red. The general market was down.
