Dow was closed last night while European bourses fell. European bourses
have opened sharply down.
Asian bourses closed mostly sharply down. Nikkei -418, ShanghaiC -45,
Hangseng -663. STI closed -42 at 3114. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers
were 142 to 214 losers.
Trend of STI is turning down.
Top volumes were Ezion -0.5, MMPResources +0.2, RichCapital +0.1, Spackman
-0.3, RexIntl -0.3, Genting -1, ThaiBev -1, YZJ -2, CapitaMallTrust +1.
STI opened down and fell further in the morning and was at morning low by
late morning. It pulled back a little to close for lunch off its morning
low. After lunch it fell again to hit a day low at 3106 in mid afternoon
only to move up a little to close off the day's low at 3114, -42.
Blue chips were mostly red and the general market was down.
