Asian bourses closed up. Nikkei +70, ShanghaiC +74, Hangseng +198. STI
closed +19 at 3207. Volume was 611m shares. Gainers were 162 to 116
losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Genting +1.5, RexIntl unchanged, KepInfraTr +0.5, Synagie
+1, YZJ +4, SuntecReit +3, AEM +4.5, SingTel +2, MapletreeLogTr -1,
ThomsonMed +0.1.
STI opened slightly up and moved higher to close the morning session at
3203. After lunch it moved up further to reach day high at 3211. It
finally closed with a slight dip at the last hour at +19 at 3207.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was firmer.
