European bourses closed mixed and flat last night. Dow closed -10 at
26527. Trend of Dow is turning down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -62, ShanghaiC -18, Hangseng -75.
STI closed -2 at 3326. Volume was 777m shares. Gainers were 145 to -176
losers.
Trend of STI is flattening.
Top volumes were BlackGold +0.3, GoldenAgri -2, SingTel +2, Tee +0.2,
Genting -0.5, YVentures -0.6, Synagie -0.2, YZJ +1, CapitaComTr +1,
AscendasReit +4.
STI opened up but fell quickly to negative after 20 minutes of trading. It
then stayed slightly negative for the rest of the morning, closing for
lunch at -4. After lunch it moved up slightly but barely able to turn
positive until the last hour when it was trading flat or marginally up. It
closed +3 at 3331. Matching brought it down to -2.
Blue chips were mixed. The general market was slightly weaker.
