European bourses and Dow closed down last night. Dow closed -44 at 26005.
Trend of Dow is up but weakening. European bourses opened slightly up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -121, ShanghaiC +1, Hangseng -42. STI
closed +8 at 3215. Volume was 538m shares. Gainers were 152 to 100 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were YZJ +2, SingTel +3, Synagie +1.4, JasperInv -0.1, RexIntl
+0.1, Genting -0.5, CapitaComTr +3, NetLink +0.5, ThomsonMed

STI opened and slipped down slightly. It reached day low after an hour of
trading at 3186. It then recovered to close for lunch at 3204. After
lunch it stayed at the same level and only moved higher after mid afternoon
and reached day high at 3217. It slipped back slightly in the last hour and
closed at 3215.
Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was firmer.
