European bourses closed mixed yesterday. Dow closed +8 at 26728. Trend of
Dow is still up but flattening. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -123, ShanghaiC -26, Hangseng
-375. STI closed -6 at 3305. Volume was 651m shares. Gainers were 154 to
201 losers.
Trend of STI is up but also flattening.
Top volumes were Netlink +1.5, ISR unchanged, SingTel +3, Synagie +0.1,
RexIntl -0.1, GoldenAgri unchanged, Genting unchanged, YZJ unchanged,
LionGold unchanged, ESRReit -1.
STI opened slightly up and stayed at that level for most part of the
morning before slipping down to close for lunch flat. After lunch it
attempted to move higher but lost strength by mid afternoon. It then traded
slightly negative to close at -6.
Blue chips saw more losers than gainers. The general market was weaker.
