European bourses closed up but flat last night. Dow closed was +102 at
26107. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei +83, ShanghaiC -29, Hangseng
-176. STI closed -6 at 3215. Volume was 544m shares. Gainers were 124 to
142 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Genting +0.5, ThomsonMed +0.2, ThaiBev unchanged, SingTel
-2, AEM -0.5, LionGold unchanged, JasperInv unchanged, NetLink +0.5,
Synagie -0.1, RexIntl -0.2.
STI opened down then moved up and was flat after an hour of trading. It
stayed at this level till closing for lunch at +2. After lunch it slipped
down and slipped further after mid afternoon to close at -6.
Blue chips were mixed. The general market was weaker.
