European bourses and Dow were slightly up on Friday. Dow closed +73 at
26600. Trend of Dow is flattening at this point. European bourses opened
up.
Asian bourses closed mostly higher. Nikkei +454, ShanghaiC +66, Hangseng
-79. STI closed +53 at 3375. Volume was 1b shares. Gainers were 288 to
116 losers.
Trend of STI is firming up again.
Top volumes were IndofoodAgri +4.5, DISA unchanged, MDR unchanged, Genting
+1.5, SinoGrandness +0.5, GInvacom +0.9, RexIntl +0.3, MapletreeLogTr +3,
YZJ unchanged, SingTel -1.
STI opened slightly but quickly moved higher and closed near morning high
for lunch. After lunch it moved higher and was at day high in the last
hour of trading at 3374 and finally closed at 3375, +53.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was also firmer.
