European bourses closed down last night.  Dow closed +77 at 26860.  Trend

of Dow is making a turn up.  European bourses opened mixed.

Asian bourses closed mostly up.  Nikkei +110, ShanghaiC +2, Hangseng +227.

STI closed +13 at 3353. Volume was 850m shares.  Gainers were 203 to 188

losers.

Trend of STI is turning up.

Top volumes were MDR unchanged, GInvacom -0.4, SinoGrandness -0.1, SingTel

+3, Tee +0.4, CapitalWorld +0., GoldenAgri +0.5, Chasen unchanged, DISA

unchanged, RexIntl +0.2.

STI opened up and moved higher hitting day high by 10am at 3372.  It closed

for lunch at 3362. After lunch it slid down all the way till closing at

3353.

Blue chips were mostly green.  The general market was firmer.

European bourses are mixed at this moment while Dow's future is up.
