European bourses and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +117 at 26717.
Trend of Dow is starting to turn up again. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +5, ShanghaiC -1, Hangseng +336. STI
closed -5 at 3367. Volume was 736m shares. Gainers were 163 to 186
losers.
Trend of STI is easing up.
Top volumes were SinoGrandness -0.2, GInvacom unchanged, Tritech +0.1, DISA
+0.1, RexIntl -0.1, IEV +0.6, MapletreeNACTr unchanged, Genting unchanged,
TEE unchanged, Chasen unchanged.
STI opened flat and then slipped down through the session. It was at day
low at 3348 just before closing for lunch. After lunch it recovered
slightly through the session and was at day high in the last hour of the
session at 3374, +2. It finally closed at 3367, -5.
Blue chips were weaker. The general market was also down.
