European bourses were slightly down last night but Dow closed +228 at
27088. Trend of Dow is looking up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed slightly higher. Nikkei +42, ShanghaiC +18, Hangseng
+40. STI closed +4.5 at 3355. Volume was 670m shares. Gainers were 165 to
217 losers.
Trend of STI is going sideways.
Top volumes were ThaiBev -1.5, ReenovaInvestment unchanged, SuntecReit -1,
Genting +0.5, SingTel +1, YZJ -1, CapitaComTr -3, MapletreeLogTr +2,
SinoGrandness -0.1, AscendasReit unchanged.
STI opened marginally up, dipped to negative for a moment before turning
positive again. It closed near morning high at 3363. After lunch it held
at the same level for an hour before slipping down further. It closed at
3355.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was weaker.
