European bourses closed slightly up. Dow closed -69 at 27154. Trend of
Dow is threatening to break down. European bourses opened slightly up.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -50, ShanghaiC -37, Hangseng
-394. STI closed -23 at 3355. Volume was 686m shares. Gainers were 152
to 235 losers.
Trend of STI is about to turn down.
Top volumes were Libra +0.6, ChinaStarFood +0.3, SinoGrandness unchanged,
KLW unchanged, GoldenAgri -0.5, Netlink -1.5, RexIntl +0.1, Winas +0.2,
Jadason +0.3, Capitaland -4.
STI opened down and stayed down for the whole session. It closed for lunch
at 3357, -20. After lunch it hovered at the same level till mid afternoon
when it slipped down further to close at 3355. Day low was 3348, hit during
the first hour of trading in the morning.
Blue chips were mostly red. The general market was down.
