Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +89, ShanghaiC +23, Hangseng +58.
STI closed -5 at 3369. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 171 to 197
losers.
Trend of STI is sideways.
Top volumes were NicoSteel +0.1, Jiutian +0.3, Spackman unchanged, SingTel
-6, IEV +0.2, Singapore-eDev +1.2, Genting unchanged, Winas -0.5, Chasen
unchanged, GoldenAgri +1.
STI opened slightly up and moved higher reaching day high after an hour of
trading at 3387. It pulled back slightly to close for lunch at 3381. After
lunch it slipped down all the way to close near day low at 3369. Day low
was 3361, -12.
Blue chips were mixed. The general market was weaker.
