European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -23 at 27198.
Trend of Dow is drifting down. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei -188, ShanghaiC -20, Hangseng
closed due to typhoon. STI closed -45 at 3305. Volume was 820m shares.
Gainers were 124 to 264 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Genting -0.5, SingTel -4, YZJ -1, Synagie +0.4,
CapitaComTr -5, ThaiBev -2, GoldenAgri -1.5, FrasersL&ITr unchanged,
P5Capital +0.2, Capitaland -1.
STI opened slightly up but fell to negative quickly and was negative after
half an hour of trading. It stayed negative for most part of the morning,
moving back to flat just before lunch but closed for lunch -3. After lunch
it fell all the way to close near day low at 3305. Day low was 3300.
Blue chips were mostly down. The general market was down.
