European bourses and Dow were slightly up last night. Dow closed +18 at
27172. Trend of Dow is still threatening to cut down. European bourses
opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +204, ShanghaiC +13, Hangseng +95.
STI closed +14 at 3371. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 250 to 178
losers.
Trend of STI is turning up.
Top volumes were Winas +1.6, DISA unchanged, Accrelist +0.2, Jadason +0.5,
Singapore-eDev +1.9, SinoGrandness +0.1, SenYue unchanged, SingTel
unchanged, Genting +1, Tritech unchanged.
STI opened marginally up and moved higher to reach morning high after an
hour of trading. It pulled back slightly to close for lunch at 3367. After
lunch it inched up through the afternoon session to close off the day high
at 3371. Day high was 3374.
Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was up.
