European bourses closed mixed yesterday.  Dow closed -75 at 25509. Trend of

Dow is still looking a bit up.  European bourses opened down.

Asian bourses closed mostly down.  Nikkei -283, ShanghaiC +1, Hangseng

-241.  STI closed -40 at 3287.  Volume was 1.8b shares. Gainers were 154 to

224 losers.

Trend of STI is drifting down again.

Top volumes were AdvanceSCT unchanged, Eion +0.2, YZJ unchanged, ICP -01,

ThaiBev -2, CapitaComTrust -3, SingTel -6, CapitaLand +1, Oceanus

unchanged.

STI opened down and stayed down for the whole day. It hit a day low after

half an hour to 3273. It then recovered to stay at the same level for the

rest of the session at about -35/40 points before closing at -40 points.

Blue chips were mostly in the red.  The general market was also weaker.

European bourses and Dow closed up last night.  Dow closed +127 at 25629.

Trend of Dow is up.  European bourses opened mixed.

Asian bourses closed mixed.  Nikkei -3, ShanghaiC -34, Hangseng +110.  STI

closed -14 at 3326.  Volume was 1.8b shares.  Gainers were 145 to 211

losers.

Trend of STI is slightly up.

Capitaland +4, Ezion -0.1, SingTel unchanged, HPHTrust unchanged, Synagie

IPO closed at 27.5, SingPost -3.

STI opened flat but slipped down quickly to negative before pulling back a

bit after mid morning to close off the morning low.  After lunch it slid

down slightly but recovered to close near day low at -14.

Blue chips were slightly weaker. The general market was down.

European bourses are still mixed at this moment while Dow's future is a bit

up.

European bourses closed mixed and flat last night.  Dow closed +40 at

25502. Trend of Dow is looking up. European bourses opened firmly up.

Asian bourses closed mostly up.  Nikkei +148, ShanghaiC +74, Hangseng +429.

STI closed +59 at 3345.  Volume was 2b shares.  Gainers were 231 to 145

losers.

Trend of STI is turning up.

STI opened up and continued to climb throughout the day. It closed at

morning high and moved up higher after lunch. It hit day high at 3348 by

mid afternoon only to pull back slightly to close at 3345.

Blue chips were mostly green. The general market was firmer.

European bourses and Dow closed up on Friday.  Dow closed +136 at 25463.

Trend of Dow is holding on to its uptrend.  European bourses opened mixed.

Asian bourses closed mixed.  Nikkei -11, ShanghaiC -35, Hangseng +143.  STI

closed +17 at 3283.  Volume was 1.9b shares.  Gainers were 162 to 181

losers.

Trend of STI is still looking down.

STI opened up and reached a day high of 3305 by mid morning. It retreated

to close about 10 points from this level. After lunch it moved up a little

but slid back at mid afternoon to close slightly up at +3.

Dow is in early stage of turning down.  European bourses opened up.

Asian bourses closed mixed and relatively flat.  Nikkei +13, ShanghaiC -27,

Hangseng -38.  STI closed -20 at 3266.  Volume was 1.7b shares.  Gainers

were 138 to 235 losers.

turn down. European bourses opened down.

Asian bourses fell sharply.  Nikkei -243, ShanghaiC -57, Hangseng -626.

STI closed -41 at 3288.  Volume was 1.8b shares.  Gainers 114 to 243

losers.
