European bourses and Dow were down last night. Trend of Dow is starting to
turn down. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses fell sharply. Nikkei -243, ShanghaiC -57, Hangseng -626.
STI closed -41 at 3288. Volume was 1.8b shares. Gainers 114 to 243
losers.

Top volumes were Ezion -0.5, Genting -1, Jiutian +0.1, SingTel -1,
GoldenAgri unchanged, ThomsonMed -0.2, ThaiBev unchanged, CapitaLand -4,
YZJ unchanged, YZJ unchanged, AEM -1.5.
STI opened flat but fell to negative after an hour of trading. It closed
for lunch losing about 40 points. After lunch it stayed at this level for
the rest of the afternoon, only to close near day low at -41..
Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market was down with gainer
loser ration at 1:2.
