European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -125 at 25188.
Trend of Dow is down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +471, ShanghaiC -5, Hangseng -184. STI
closed-2 at 3243. Volume was 1.8b shares. Gainers were 191 to 186 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were JasperInv unchanged, Ezion +0.3, ThaiBev unchanged, DISA
unchanged, YJ +3, Noble unchanged, Genting +1, STEngineering -3, SingTel
unchanged, Wilmar +12.
STI opened flat but slipped to negative after half an hour. It closed
marginally down for lunch. After lunch it started to turn up slightly and
was marginally up by mid morning. It slipped slightly back down to close
-3.
Blue chips were firmer. The general market was mixed.
