European bourses closed up last night. Dow closed -89 at 25759. Trend of
Dow is still looking up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -56, ShanghaiC +10, Hangseng -137. STI
closed +53 at 3253. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 194 to 172
losers.
Trend of STI is levelling after today's gain.
Top volumes were SingTel +20, Noble +0.9, Genting +3, ThaiBev +1.5,
NicoSteel unchanged, YZJ +5, Ezion +0.1, FalconEnergy +0.2, NamCheong +0.5,
AEM +2.5.
STI opened up and moved higher to close for lunch +46 points. After lunch
it stayed at this level for most part of the afternoon only to move up
slightly higher at the last hour. It closed near day high at +53.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was also firmer.
