European bourses and Dow were up last night. Trend of Dow is up. European
bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +193, ShanghaiC -52, Hangseng -242.
STI closed +10 at 3330. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 159 to 220
losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Ezion -0.2, AEM -24.5, Genting -1, AlliedTech -0.4,
Blumont +0.1, GoldenAgri unchanged, SingPost +4, YZJ -2, SingTel +1,
ThaiBev +2.
STI opened up but slipped quickly to negative. It moved back up by mid
morning to close marginally up for lunch. After lunch it inched up a
little more and closed off day high at +10.
Blue chips closed mixed. The general market was slightly weaker.
