European bourses and Dow closed down last night. Dow was -138 a 25987.
Trend of Dow is still looking up. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -14, ShanghaiC -12, Hangseng
-305. STI closed -8 at 3218. Volume was 2.3b shares. Gainers were 177 to
200 losers.

STI opened slightly down but was flat by mid morning. It closed for lunch
marginally down. After lunch it stayed that way till mid morning when it
slid down a little bit more to close at -8.
