European bourses down slightly last night. Dow was -77 at 15657. Trend of
Dow is flattening. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +183, ShanghaiC +5, Hangseng -119. STI
closed -35 at 3215. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 135 to 233
losers.
Trend of STI is slipping down.
Top volumes were Noble -0.5, SingTel -8, HPHTrust -0.5, NicoSteel
unchanged, Genting -2, ThaiBev -1.5, NamCheong +0.1, YZJ -1, Jiutian -0.1,
Ezion -2.
STI opened slightly down and then slid down further before recovering to
close for lunch -16 points. After lunch it slid further down after an hour
of trading to close at day low at -35.
Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market was also weaker.
