European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -138 at 25162.
Trend of Dow is going down. European bourses open firmly up.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei +9, ShanghaiC -17, Hangseng -224.
STI closed -16 at 3218. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 148 to 232
losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Oceanus unchanged, YZJ +4, AEM +4.5, ThaiBev -1.5, Ezion
-0.1, Genting -1, SingTel +2, HoeLeong unchanged, NicoSteel +0.1,
CapitaMallTrust unchanged.
STI opened down but moved up to morning high at -4 by mid morning. It then
slipped down slightly to closed -18 points. After lunch it stayed at the
same level till mid morning when it slid further down to close near day low
at -16.
Blue chips were mostly in the red while the general market was down with
loser slightly more than gainers.
