European bourses and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +133 at 25790.
Trend of Dow is inching back up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly higher. Nikkei +208, ShanghaiC +51, Hangseng
+599. STI closed +13 at 3226. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 196
to 161 losers.
Trend of STI is trying to turn up.
Top volumes were NicoSteel -0.1, ThaiBev unchanged, YZJ +1, SingTel -1,
Genting unchanged, GoldenAgri unchanged, Oceanus +0.1, Jiutian -0.2,
NamCheong -0.5, Ezion unchanged.
STI opened slightly up and then moved up higher. It stayed at +20 points
for the rest of the morning session. After lunch it held on to its position
but subsequently slid down after mid afternoon to closed slightly up but
near day low.
Blue chips were mostly green and the general market was also a bit firmer.
