Dow closed flat, -2 at 15372. Europe
were mixed. Dow's future is +16. Dow's trend is up after a golden
crossing. Europe opened marginally up.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
-25, ShanghaiC +5, Hangseng +245. STI closed +6 at 3192. Volume
was 1.8b shares. Gainers were 215 ot 215 losers.
Trend of STI is flat but slightly on
the upside.
Top volumes were Innopac +0.2, Albedo
unchanged, YHM unchanged, HanKore -0.1, Jubilee +0.1, GoldenAgr +1, ChinaGaoxian
-0.6, Blumont +1.9, CapitaMall +3.5, SingHaiyi +0.1.
Market opened up but drifted down to
close at day low, but +6. It was a very quiet day and trading was sideways
after opening on a positive note. Blue chips were mostly higher.
Penny and speculatives were mixed.
The ending of the debt crisis has led
to more worries in the US economy as the debt is still rising. Europe
opened slightly up while Dow's future is also positive at the moment. Both
are likely to close flat but steady for the weekend.
