Dow and Europe were slightly weaker
last night. Dow -59 at 15133. Dow's trend is down. Dow's
future is now -49. Europe opened marginally down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
-13, ShanghaiC +15, Hangseng +230. STI closed -4 at 3148. Volume
was 3.4b shares. Gainers were 183 to 276 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Ipco -0.3, SingHaiyi
-0.1, Acma +0.3, Hankore unchanged, Vallianz +0.8, GSH -0.1, Albedo -0.3,
YHM -0.1, Rowsley +0.5, Innopac unchanged.
Market opened down but recovered to
trade within a small range. Blue chips were mixed. Penny stocks and speculatives
were still active. Blumont has started to come down, -37c today. Big gainers
of penny stocks and speculatives were RH PetroGas +19.5, RexIntl +4.5,
However many of the penny stocks ended weaker.
Europe and Dow are looking a bit weak
at the moment.
