Market opened down but managed to stay
positive for a short while before closing slightly down. Blue chips
were slightly on the plus side but penny and speculatives were hit by the
suspension of Asiason, Blumont and LionGold. The three counters had been
ramped up to ridiculous levels and finally came tumbling down. This affected
many of the penny and speculatives but not so much on the blue chips.
Despite the uneasiness market still
closed steady on a Friday.
Europe and Dow's future are steady as
well despite the shut down of the US govt. There seems to be a little calm
and expectation that the US crisis would be resolved in a matter of time.
