Europe and Dow were slightly up on Friday. Dow closed +35 at 17577. Short term trend of Dow is still down. Dow's future is now +67. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -70, Shanghaic +50, Hangseng +70. STI closed +3 at 2812. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 201 to 231 losers.
Trend of STI is flat as this point.
Top volumes were HealthwayMed +0.3, Magnus unchanged, Ezra -0.1, Spackman -0.2, Vallianz -0.1, RexIntl +0.2, LionGold +0.1, MFS -0.3, SingTel --5, OSIM +2.
STI opened down and stayed slightly down for most part of the day. It moved up only in the last hour of trading to close marginally positive. Blue chips were generally weaker. The overall market was also weaker.
European bourses and Dow's future at the moment are slightly up.
