Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei -572, ShanghaiC -44, Hangseng -155. STI closed -12 at 2912. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 179 to 275 losers.
Short term trend of STI is still up.
Top volumes were Ezra -0.2, CedarStrategic -0.1, Parkson +2.4, Noble +0.5, Spackman -0.5, GoldenAgr -0.5, RexIntl -0.5, Acromec IPO closing at 26c, ChinaEverbright +2.5, YingLi +0.4.
STI opened down and stayed down for the whole session. It closed at its best level for the day but still -12. Blue chips were slightly weaker. The general market was weaker as well.
Europe and Dow's future are negative at this moment.
