European bourses were slightly up last night but Dow closed -56 at 17737. Trend of Dow is still up but flattening a bit. Dow's future at the moment is -39. European bourses opened sharply down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down but ShanghaiC was up, +44. Nikkei -390, Hangseng -322. STI closed-41 at 2794. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 162 to 289 losers.
Top volumes were Ezra -0.5, Noble -1, Magnus unchanged, Rickmers -0.8, ResourcesPrima -0.3, LionGold unchanged, GoldenAgri unchanged, Annica unchanged, GlobalLogistic -4.5, ISRCapital -0.1, OSIM +1.5.
STI opened slightly down but fell further after half an hour of trading. It recovered slightly but slipped down again closing off its day low. Blue chips were mostly down. The general market was also weaker. Could this be the continuation of a correction that started a week ago but premature?
Europe is looking very weak at this moment while Dow's future is slightly lower.
