Europe and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +51 at 18041. Short term trend of Dow is breaking the slide down for the moment. Dow's future is now -174. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -624, ShanghaiC -7, Hangseng +28. STI closed -16 at 2859. Volume was 1.7b shares. Gainers were 208 to 231 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Cedar -0.1, Ezra unchanged, NOL unchanged, ThaiBev unchanged, RexIntl -0.4, AllianceMineral +0.3, Noble +0.5, GoldenAgri -1, Genting -2, SIIC -1.5.
STI opened up but fell to flat by late morning. It fell further in the afternoon to negative following the sharp falls in Nikkei. STI closed at day low with Europe opened sharply down. Blue chips were slightly weaker. The general market was steady.
Europe and Dow's future are down and looks like tonight Dow would close weak.
