Europe closed down on Friday but Dow was +108 closing at 17794. Trend of Dow is looking up. Dow's future is now +20. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -41, ShanghaiC +5, Hangseng -278. STI closed +18 at 2836. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 222 to 196 losers.
Short term trend of STI is sideways.
Top volumes were Annica unchanged, Rickmers +3, Ezra -0.6, OKH +0.1, HLH unchanged, ResourcesPrima +0.6, Attilan +0.1, CSC +0.3, Parkson +0.5, Noble unchanged.
STI opened up, dipped down initially but stayed positive for the whole session. It closed near its day high of 2846. Blue chips were mostly up while the general market was mixed.
Europe and Dow's future are slightly up at the moment.
