Dow and European bourses were down last night. Dow -103 at 24987. European
bourses fell sharply on opening.
Asian bourses fell sharply on fear of trade war. Nikkei -392, ShanghaiC
-115, Hangseng -841. STI -20 at 3304. Volume was 2b shares. Gainers were
132 to 253 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were NicoSteel unchanged, AlliedTech -0.1, GoldenAgri +0.5,
HPHTrust -1, SingTel -1, Genting -1, Ezion -0.1, , Addvalue -0.3, YZJ -1.5,
DISA unchanged.
STI opened flat and then turned positive for a while. It closed for lunch
slightly up. After lunch it fell together with all Asian markets. There
was a bit of short covering and STI closed near its day low.
